VIII.4.25 Pompeii. December 2007. South wall of shop. According to Breton, on the pilaster opposite the prothyron of I.4.5 at Via Stabiana 109, the following inscription was found:
Q.  POSTVMIVM  PROCVLVM  AED.
PRISCVM  ROGAT  CRISPVS
(Crispus wants Q. Postumius Proculus Priscus as aedile).
He also said nearly all the walls of the street were covered with invocations of this genre; many of them offered the name of Holconius Rufus, found reproduced on many walls in Pompeii.

According to Eschebach, the steps to the upper floor were against the west wall, near to the door to the large rear room.
