According to Della Corte, on the front of the street, a recommendation was found towards the south-east corner of insula VI.14. He could not say exactly where it was found, but it was written by a society of tavern-keepers in support of the candidate Sallustius Capito. It read - Caupones facite [CIL IV 336]

Sallustium Capitonem aed(ilem)
o(ro) v(os) f(aciatis) caupones facite [CIL IV 336]
On the extreme right of the photo, at the end of the brick pilaster, another entrance can be seen. This was the entrance at the south end of the portico on the west side of Via del Vesuvio, and as such was numbered as Strada della Fortuna 28.](6%2014%2016_files/image001.jpg)
