One dog was attacking him from the front, the other leaping onto him from behind.

In the background, another dog was attacking a deer.

Un-numbered rear entrance from Vicolo dei Gladiatori, (it is unnumbered on the Eschebach plans).

According to Van der Poel, it was numbered as V.5.a.

This posticum, together with the stables were destroyed when it was bombed in 1943,
