V.1.18 Pompeii. House of the Epigrams or Casa degli Epigrammi greci.

Linked to V.1.11 and V.1.12.

Excavated 1748, 1875 and 1908.   The first rooms were discovered on April 1748 in the beginning of the excavation of Pompeii.  The house was completely brought to light after the 16th November 1875.

We photographed this house in December 2007 and March 2009 whilst it was under restoration and only a few rooms were able to be photographed.

A floor plan is not included at this stage but will be added when a more complete set of photographs can be taken at some time in the future.
