III.11.7 Pompeii. Part of stables complex?

Linked to III.11.6. Excavated 1813.

One of two entrances to III.11.6/7, this one on small vicolo and the other on Via di Nola.

It is difficult to reconcile the entrances in this insula with the plans as the entrances onto Via di Nola have been filled in or are unexcavated.

The entrance to the blocked, unexcavated vicolo between III.12 and III.11, would have been behind the modern wall.
