Entrance doorway, looking east.
On the right of the entrance doorway would have been the
site of the south wall of the bar.
This wall was destroyed in the 1943 bombing together with
a niche or recess in the south wall.
According to Boyce, on the wall was a lararium painting
but only the lower parts of two figures (one a Lar) remained.
Two serpents confronted at an altar with offerings.
See Boyce G. K., 1937.
